Today Prof Dr Moniek de Maat, professor in the Department of Hematology of the Erasmus MC, received the Van Creveld Medal of the Dutch Society for Thrombosis and Hemostasis (NVTH).
The Van Creveld Medal is a prestigious scientific award given to individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to research in the field of thrombosis and hemostasis. During the annual NVTH symposium, Prof Dr De Maat gave the Van Creveld lecture on her favorite coagulation factor fibrinogen, the focus of years of research. A well-deserved recognition for her scientific research and her commitment to generations of young researchers in the field of Thrombosis and Hemostasis.
